Drink your water, get plenty of rest, avoid alcohol, and eat a good breakfast before coming in. Continue this behavior after your appointment for the best healing results!

shoulder - shoulder blade - bicep area - chest
- sleeveless top or top that fully exposes the area you’re having tattooed
sternum- spine
- flannel or zip up jacket that can be unbuttoned to expose areas on the front and worn backwards to expose areas on the back
hips - upper thigh
- swim bottoms or black shorts
- for large hip pieces, swim bottoms that untie at the side are best!All other tattoo areas are at your discretion! Try your best to wear dark clothing that exposes the area you’re hoping to have tattooed and that you won't miss if things get messy!

You should avoid a tattoo and reschedule your appointment:
- if you’ve recently experienced a flare up of a skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis, hives etc
- If you’ve recently had a sunburn and are peeling or currently have a sunburn and will peel
-If you intend to have prolonged sun exposure less than 2 weeks after your tattoo appointment
-If you have intensive labor activities planned less than 2 weeks after your tattoo appointment
-If you have a medical condition that prevents proper healing or an immune disorder that may result in difficulty healing
-If you are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
-If you have had a significant amount of alcohol within the last 36-48 hours
-If you are on antibiotics or blood thinners

Wait at least a month before coming in for a touch up on a fresh tattoo - if you’re unsure if you need a touch up, you are always welcome to send photos and ask for an opinion!
